Shari Krell

M.S. CCC-SLP

I am an American Speech Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certified and California licensed speech-language pathologist who has been practicing since 2001. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado and received my Masters of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Boston University. In addition, I have extensive training and experience in the Orton-Gillingham Method.

Throughout my career I have worked with children of all ages in a variety of settings including early intervention, schools, private practice and in the home. Trained in the Orton-Gillingham Method, I have a passion for working with school aged children to help them develop their literacy skills as well as foster a love of reading and writing. Additionally, I bring a creative approach to play based therapy with preschool age children while helping them meet their social, emotional and linguistic goals. I find great reward in collaborating with other professionals and working in partnership with families. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and friends, tending my garden and swimming.

“Curiosity is the wick in the candle of learning.”
